Blake Hayes is the afternoon drive on-air personality on Houston's Mix 96-5.

He joined Mix from WPLJ in New York where he also worked with Scott Shannon on his syndicated True Oldies Channel, heard in over 60 markets across the country.  He has already worked for the Mix brand in Boston at WBMX-FM.  He began his radio career during high school at WKCI-FM in New Haven, CT.

Blake has also done some television work, reporting from red carpets and interviewing celebrities for various cable networks including ET Canada and Comcast Cable.

His career entertaining people began at age 5 doing magic tricks for classmates; though radio is his passion, he still sometimes has a "trick up his sleeve."

Blake grew up in Madison, CT and received his degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
